Role Specifics and Benefits
As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will oversee the full spectrum of obstetric care—from triage and labor support to delivery, cesarean assistance, postpartum recovery, and newborn stabilization. Responsibilities include continuous fetal monitoring, interpretation of tracings, pain management coordination, epidural and anesthesia collaboration, suck/suckle education, lactation support, newborn assessment, and comprehensive discharge planning. You’ll lead patient and family education, advocate for evidence-guided decisions, and partner with the perinatal team to ensure safe, respectful, and individualized birth experiences.
