Role Specifics and Benefits: As an RN on Med Surg, you’ll oversee adult medical-surgical patients requiring comprehensive care. Core responsibilities include initial assessments, charting and care planning, administration of medications and IV therapy, wound care, monitoring of vitals and clinical status, documentation accuracy, escalating changes in condition, collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and discharge planning with patient and family education.
