Mid Level
Step into a rewarding role as a Speech Language Pathologist in Missouri’s Lewistown, where your expertise can transform lives and empower individuals to communicate with confidence. This specialty position invites you to bring evidence-based strategies to diverse populations, guiding children and adults through meaningful gains in speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Imagine the impact you can make every day as you partner with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to unlock potential, celebrate progress, and set the stage for successful communication across contexts. Nestled in the heart of Missouri, Lewistown offers a welcoming, close-knit community where professional fulfillment goes hand in hand with a high quality of life. Beyond the clinic walls, Missouri reveals a tapestry of natural beauty and cultural richness—from the shimmering waters of nearby lakes and rivers to the scenic Ozarks, rolling farmland, and vibrant local events. The state’s diversity provides a rich landscape for your clinical judgment to thrive while you explore new places during your assignment, with plenty of opportunities to unwind in outdoor spaces, historic towns, and family-friendly attractions that celebrate Missouri’s history and spirit.

Location benefits extend beyond Lewistown to the broader U.S. opportunities available through this travel-centric program. Lewistown itself is the kind of community that values compassionate care and professional autonomy, while also offering easy access to larger urban centers for professional development, continuing education, and peer collaboration. As a traveling SLP, you’ll also have the chance to serve in various locations across the country, expanding your clinical repertoire across settings such as schools, clinics, early intervention programs, and outpatient facilities. This versatility builds resilience, sharpens problem-solving skills, and provides rich experiences with diverse caseloads, languages, and cultural backgrounds. Whether you’re drawn to quiet rural clinics or dynamic urban specialties, your journey can blend the comfort of Lewistown with the adventure of a nationwide practice, all while maintaining support networks that make travel sustainable and rewarding.

In this role, you’ll own and refine a comprehensive scope of practice. Core responsibilities include evaluation and differential diagnosis of communication disorders, development and implementation of individualized therapy plans, and ongoing progress monitoring with data-driven adjustments. You’ll provide direct therapy across ages and diagnoses, employ augmentative and alternative communication modalities when appropriate, and collaborate with families, school staff, physicians, and other therapists to coordinate care. Your expertise will guide interventions for speech sound disorders, language impairments, fluency challenges, voice concerns, and swallowing safety, with documentation that meets regulatory standards and supports meaningful outcomes. You’ll leverage best practices in evidence-based therapy, implement objective outcomes, and participate in ongoing professional development. The role also encompasses teletherapy considerations, family coaching, and skilled communication with collateral teams to ensure consistency and generalization of gains across home and school environments. Growth opportunities abound: you can deepen specialization in pediatric language, augmentative communication, or adult neurogenic communication, pursue mentorship roles, or contribute to program development and quality improvement efforts. Competitive benefits enhance this journey, including a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and potential contract extensions based on performance and program needs. Weekly compensation ranges from $2,093 to $2,215, with transparent expectations discussed during onboarding, and flexible scheduling designed to maximize patient impact while maintaining professional balance.

Your assignment is designed to be supportive throughout. You’ll receive comprehensive, 24/7 assistance from a dedicated team as you travel, ensuring you have real-time guidance for clinical and logistical questions, housing, transportation, and local resources. This support network is designed to minimize downtime, reduce stress, and keep you focused on delivering high-quality care. You’ll also enjoy the stability of a system that prioritizes caregiver wellness, fair scheduling, and accessible supervision and collaboration with experienced SLPs and clinical specialists who share your commitment to excellence in communication sciences. The organization’s values center on empowerment, career advancement, and a nurturing work environment—an ecosystem where your insights are welcomed, your professional growth is facilitated, and your success is celebrated at every milestone.

This opportunity reflects a commitment to your professional journey as much as to patient outcomes. You’ll be part of a mission-driven company that believes in elevating speech-language pathology as a critical healthcare service and in supporting clinicians as they build durable, meaningful careers. The path is designed to recognize your expertise, expand your toolkits, and open doors to future roles that align with your evolving interests and aspirations. The welcoming Lewistown community, combined with the possibilities of placements across the United States, creates a unique platform to broaden your clinical impact while enjoying a supportive, family-friendly lifestyle.

Ready to apply? This is your chance to join a company that values your contribution, invests in your development, and champions you as a leader in speech-language pathology.
