Embark on a meaningful Hospice nursing journey as a Registered Nurse in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where every patient encounter carries the potential to ease suffering, affirm dignity, and support families through one of life’s most intimate transitions. In this Hospice assignment, you’ll apply advanced clinical skills to relieve pain and symptoms, advocate for patient goals, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to craft care plans that honor cultural values and personal choices. This role is designed for compassionate professionals who believe that comfort and connection matter at every moment. You’ll have opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and ongoing education as you expand your practice in hospice care while serving a diverse community.
Location benefits: Plymouth, with its scenic coastline, historic charm, and easy access to the Boston metro area and Cape Cod, offers a rich backdrop for work-life balance. From waterfront strolls to vibrant dining and cultural happenings, the region provides restorative downtime between shifts. And for clinicians who relish new horizons, our program offers the potential to work in various locations across the U.S., broadening your exposure to settings, patient populations, and care models while keeping you connected to a robust support network and a trusted employer.
Role specifics and benefits: In this role, you’ll perform comprehensive patient assessments, manage pain and symptoms, administer medications, and implement comfort-focused interventions in coordination with physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and family members. You’ll lead or contribute to plan-of-care discussions, facilitate goals-of-care conversations, educate families on symptom management and home safety, and document care accurately in the electronic chart. You’ll participate in ongoing performance improvement activities and pursue professional development opportunities in hospice care. The position includes a competitive weekly pay range of 2,216 to 2,321, with a sign-on bonus available in many cases. Housing assistance or a housing stipend helps you establish a comfortable base, whether you’re relocating or staying locally. We provide extension opportunities, so if you thrive in the role, you can extend your assignment and continue to build relationships with the team and patients you serve. Comprehensive support is a core component of our program: a dedicated travel coordinator, 24/7 clinical and operational support, and rapid access to resources if you need assistance while you travel. You’ll experience a structured onboarding process, ongoing clinical mentorship, and opportunities to advance within hospice care.
Company values: Our organization is committed to empowering staff, fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and collaboration, and enabling steady career progression. We invest in your success through continuous education, leadership pathways, and recognition of your expertise and compassionate approach. You’ll be part of a team that values your voice, supports your well‑being, and celebrates the difference you make for patients and families during some of life’s most meaningful moments.
