Step into a deeply rewarding role as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, serving residents in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where your hands, compassion, and clinical expertise can transform daily life for those who deserve the best possible care. This assignment opens December 2, 2025 and runs for multiple weeks, with the potential for extension based on facility needs and your demonstrated impact. In this role you’ll join a dedicated team that blends clinical excellence with warm, person-centered care, all within a region celebrated for its sunlit skies, expansive landscapes, and welcoming communities. The beauty of New Mexico is a constant companion to your work, from the Organ Mountains’ rugged serenity to the otherworldly allure of White Sands, offering inspiration and renewal outside the workplace. Imagine mornings that begin with crisp desert air, afternoons spent enjoying local cultural events, and evenings where you can unwind in a city known for its heritage, cuisine, and outdoor adventures.

Las Cruces itself combines a thriving healthcare ecosystem with an approachable, affordable lifestyle. As you contribute to a high-quality long-term care program, you’ll enjoy the advantages of living in a city that values community, lifelong learning, and work–life balance. And for healthcare professionals seeking broader horizons, our program offers the opportunity to work in various locations across the United States, expanding your clinical repertoire, reconnecting with diverse resident populations, and enriching your travel experiences with well-supported placements. The role provides exposure to a range of memory care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and palliative care scenarios—experiences that sharpen your assessment skills, deepen your resident relationships, and broaden your career trajectory. You’ll benefit from a supportive network that respects your expertise while inviting your input on care plans, best practices, and resident advocacy.

Role specifics and benefits are designed to empower you to excel. As an LPN in Long-Term Care, you’ll deliver essential nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, monitoring vital signs, managing wounds and skin integrity, assisting with activities of daily living, providing catheter and ostomy care as needed, and supporting mobility, fall prevention, and transfer techniques. You’ll participate in care planning, document clearly and timely, educate residents and families, and respond promptly to changes in condition with clinical judgment and professional composure. The role emphasizes professional growth within the long-term care specialty, with opportunities to advance toward leadership tracks, specialized certifications, and cross-training across geriatric care services. Our compensation package reflects the value you bring: competitive weekly pay ranging from $1,053 to $1,080, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. We also offer a bonus structure, housing assistance to ease the transition to travel assignments, and extension opportunities that recognize consistency, performance, and a collaborative mindset. Additional support includes robust 24/7 assistance from a dedicated travel team, ensuring you have real-time help with scheduling, housing, licensing, and onsite orientation, no matter where your assignment takes you. You’ll receive comprehensive onboarding, ongoing clinical resources, and access to continuing education that supports your licensure and your professional ambitions. By design, the role provides stability in a travel framework—consistent pay, predictable hours, and the freedom to grow within a nurturing environment that values your expertise and your compassion.

Company values center on empowering staff, promoting career advancement, and cultivating a supportive, respectful workplace culture. We recognize the difference you make in residents’ lives and commit to investing in your professional development, mentorship, and opportunities to expand your scope of practice. Our mission is to create paths for growth—whether through leadership development, enhanced clinical skills, or specialized training—and to maintain a workplace where colleagues uplift one another while delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
