Location Benefits
Burlington offers a welcoming, walkable downtown framed by the scenic shores of Lake Champlain and the backdrop of the Green Mountains. Here you’ll enjoy vibrant local arts, farmers markets, farm-to-table dining, and a thriving outdoor lifestyle that supports work-life balance. The city’s close-knit healthcare community combines high standards with approachable collaboration, creating an environment where you can excel as a PCU nurse while feeling connected and supported. For those with wanderlust or evolving interests, this travel assignment also provides the opportunity to work across diverse locations in the U.S.—experiencing new patient populations, facilities, and regional practices—while backed by a company that prioritizes your safety, comfort, and professional development. Role Specifics and Benefits
As a Registered Nurse in PCU, you’ll lead complex patient care for individuals who require advanced monitoring, careful hemodynamic assessment, and timely interventions. Your responsibilities include comprehensive assessment and documentation, IV therapy administration, medication administration and safety checks, frequent vital signs monitoring, early recognition of deterioration, hemodynamic monitoring, device and line management, post-procedure recovery care, discharge planning, patient and family education, and close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care. You’ll mentor less experienced colleagues, contribute to care protocols, and participate in unit quality improvement initiatives that elevate patient safety and outcomes. This role advances your specialty practice by offering exposure to a range of critical care scenarios, with opportunities to pursue certifications, targeted training, and leadership pathways that recognize your growing expertise.

We offer a compelling package designed to support your success: competitive weekly pay in the range of $2,298 to $2,464, reflecting the scope and intensity of PCU work; a sign-on or completion bonus aligned with performance and assignment length; housing assistance to ease relocation or temporary housing needs; and potential extension opportunities to continue building your travel portfolio with flexibility. You’ll also benefit from robust support, including 24/7 assistance while traveling with the company, a dedicated travel liaison, and access to comprehensive orientation to help you hit the ground running. The role is weeks-long, with a clear start date and a structure that allows you to balance clinical impact with personal time, while keeping your options open for subsequent assignments across different settings and regions. We encourage ongoing professional growth through access to specialty education, hands-on practice in PCU environments, and pathways that recognize your dedication and results.
