Step into a rewarding role as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, where every day presents a meaningful opportunity to improve the quality of life for residents who rely on your care, compassion, and clinical expertise. This travel-focused opportunity invites you to bring steady hands, attentive eyes, and a heart for senior wellness to Albuquerque, New Mexico, a city known for its sunlit skies, vibrant culture, and welcoming communities. In this role, you’ll not only deliver essential nursing support in a dynamic long-term care setting but also contribute to a standard of care that prioritizes dignity, comfort, and independence for residents. Beyond Albuquerque, our nationwide assignments offer the chance to explore varied facilities and neighborhoods across diverse settings, empowering you to broaden your clinical repertoire while making an impact wherever you go.

Location benefits are abundant in Albuquerque. The city blends rich Southwest heritage with a modern, outdoor-oriented lifestyle. Bask in the golden glow of sandstone mesas, ride the Sandia Peak tram for breathtaking panoramic views, or stroll through Old Town’s charming plazas and cafes. Albuquerque’s community fosters connection and stability, with parks, cultural events, and affordable living that support a healthy work-life balance. For those who relish travel, the opportunity to take assignments across the U.S. adds variety to your professional journey—experiencing different care models, teams, and regulations, all while building a broader professional network. Whether you choose to stay closer to home or explore other regions, you’ll find resources, mentorship, and a supportive infrastructure designed to help you thrive.

Role specifics and benefits. As an LPN in Long-Term Care, you’ll play a pivotal role in direct resident care and care coordination. Key responsibilities include administering medications and treatments under established protocols, monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, performing skilled nursing tasks, and assisting with activities of daily living to ensure comfort, safety, and independence. You’ll collaborate closely with registered nurses, physicians, therapists, and social services to implement individualized care plans, document accurately in electronic health records, and reinforce safety and infection control practices. Your attention to detail, clinical judgment, and compassionate communication will help residents maintain dignity and quality of life, while you grow in your LTC expertise through exposure to diverse cases and interdisciplinary teamwork. The position also supports professional development through ongoing education, mentorship, and opportunities to assume leadership roles within care teams as you gain experience.

This opportunity is designed to be highly rewarding financially and professionally. Competitive compensation includes a weekly pay range of $985-$1,009, recognizing your experience and the critical value you bring to the facility. In addition, a sign-on bonus may be available, and you’ll have housing assistance to ease transition and relocation logistics. The role offers extension opportunities, enabling you to continue applying your strengths, deepen your LTC specialization, and build long-term relationships with facilities that trust your performance. Comprehensive support is a cornerstone of our program: you’ll have access to 24/7 support while traveling with the company, ensuring you’re never alone when you need guidance, resources, or on-call assistance. While this assignment is described as a multi-week engagement, the structure is flexible to accommodate changing facility needs and your professional goals, with the potential for continued placements across our network.

Our commitment to your success extends beyond day-to-day care. Company values center on empowering staff, advancing careers, and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where every team member can thrive. You’ll find a culture that respects clinical autonomy, encourages evidence-based practice, and celebrates teamwork. From onboarding through ongoing professional development, you’ll be supported by a dedicated leadership group, peer mentors, and a broad network of travel professionals who share insights, best practices, and resources. The organization understands that your growth translates into better resident outcomes, and your well-being matters, too—offering resources, recognition, and a pathway to expanded responsibilities as you sharpen your LTC expertise.

If you’re ready to elevate your nurse-led care in a setting that values your contributions and supports your development, this is your invitation to apply. Join a company that believes in preparing you for long-term success, providing meaningful assignments, and enabling you to build a rewarding, mobile nursing career. Bring your compassion, clinical acumen, and curiosity to a team that will nurture your skills, celebrate your progress, and help you shape the future of long-term care.

Please note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
