Responsibilities include performing thorough head-to-toe assessments, monitoring telemetry and hemodynamics, administering medications and infusions with precision, adjusting care plans in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and educating patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and discharge planning. You’ll document accurately in electronic health records, participate in rounding with intent, and participate in quality improvement initiatives that elevate safety and outcomes.
