Role specifics and benefits: As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you’ll implement and adapt portions of the plan of care under the supervision of licensed PTs. Key responsibilities include guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance work, ROM activities, and functional training; assisting with therapeutic modalities and manual techniques as directed; supervising safe practice during activities of daily living; accurately documenting progress and communicating patient responses to the care team; contributing to discharge planning and patient education; ensuring infection control, safety, and room readiness; and participating in care coordination with the broader clinical team.
