Role Specifics and Benefits
As an L&D RN, your responsibilities will include triaging admissions, monitoring contractions and fetal heart rate, managing labor analgesia, assisting with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, and coordinating immediate newborn care and transfer as needed. You will create and implement individualized birth plans, document thoroughly, and provide education to families about postpartum care, lactation, and newborn safety. You will participate in rounds, support peer learning, and pursue ongoing professional development—whether pursuing certification in obstetric nursing, neonatal care, or leadership tracks. The program offers competitive compensation with weekly wages of $2,433-$2,610, plus a sign-on bonus and comprehensive housing support.
