Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job

Quakertown, PA
Contracted
Quakertown Center
Mid Level
Take the next step in your nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care, where your hands steady the course of daily life for residents who rely on compassionate, skilled care. In this role, you’ll translate clinical knowledge into comforting routines, infection control, pain management, and meaningful social engagement that together create a dignified, home-like environment. You’ll join a team that respects your expertise and offers pathways to expand your impact—from hands-on patient care to mentoring new staff and collaborating with physicians, therapists, and family members to tailor each resident’s care plan. This opportunity is designed to help you grow while making a tangible difference in people’s lives, day after day.

Located in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, this position places you in a community that blends small-town charm with access to the region’s natural beauty and cultural resources. You’ll be within easy reach of the Delaware Canal, Bucks County farmland, and vibrant main streets filled with shops, eateries, and cultural events. Pennsylvania’s scenic landscapes, four distinct seasons, state parks, and historic towns offer enriching opportunities to unwind and explore after shifts. For clinicians who value breadth, the program also provides the chance to work with partner facilities across the United States, broadening your experience while preserving a stable core with guaranteed hours.

In this role you’ll provide compassionate, professional care for residents in long-term settings. Key responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, administering medications under supervision, monitoring vital signs, wound care and basic treatments as directed, documenting changes in electronic health records, and partnering with RNs to implement individualized care plans. You’ll help residents maintain mobility and independence through gentle assistance with transfers, positioning, hygiene, and daily routines, while also supporting social engagement, restorative activities, and family communication. The position offers a clear path for professional growth in the long-term care specialty, including access to on-site trainings, certifications, and opportunities to assume lead roles on care teams, participate in quality improvement projects, and mentor newer staff. Competitive benefits are included, with a welcome bonus, housing assistance, and options to extend contracts for ongoing opportunities. You’ll also benefit from comprehensive, 24/7 support from our travel team, ensuring you’re never alone on the road and that any challenge is met with rapid, expert assistance.

Our company is built on empowering dedicated professionals like you. We value your expertise, prioritize patient-centered outcomes, and foster a supportive environment that encourages continued learning, credentialing, and upward career movement. You’ll have access to resources designed to help you thrive, including mentorship, regular feedback, and a culture that recognizes the critical role you play in enabling residents to lead healthier, richer lives. When you join us, you’re joining a community that celebrates your contributions and stands beside you as you grow.
