In Hamburg, Iowa, you’ll guide a dedicated team through busy shifts, coordinate patient flow, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compassionate service. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to shape the care environment where every patient, family member, and colleague feels supported, valued, and confident in the care they receive. Imagine directing collaborative rounds, mentoring emerging leaders, and acting as a steady, knowledgeable resource for your team and physicians. While you focus on delivering outstanding care in beautiful Iowa, you’ll also enjoy the flexibility to experience diverse locations across the United States, expanding your professional horizons and sharpening your leadership acuity through varied settings and patient populations.
Situated in Hamburg, Iowa, this assignment places you in a community known for its welcoming spirit, agricultural heritage, and scenic charm. The state’s rolling prairies, winding rivers, and well-preserved small towns offer a peaceful backdrop for personal well-being and thoughtful leadership. Iowa’s seasonal beauty—lush springs, golden autumns, and sunlit winters—provides a refreshing environment in which to lead a clinical team. Beyond Hamburg, there are opportunities to work in various locations across the U.S., allowing you to experience new environments, broaden your clinical perspectives, and bring innovative, evidence-based practices to multiple patient populations. In this House Supervisor role, you’ll oversee daily operations of the unit, ensuring patient safety, care continuity, and staff effectiveness during your shift. Your responsibilities include supervising licensed and ancillary staff, coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers, and ensuring adherence to care plans, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies. You’ll participate in clinical rounds, monitor patient acuity, allocate resources efficiently, and identify opportunities for quality improvement. You’ll mentor charge nurses and frontline staff, foster interdepartmental communication, and implement evidence-based practices that elevate patient outcomes. Your leadership will cultivate a culture of accountability, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving. You’ll also respond decisively to emergencies, support staffing decisions during peak periods, and partner with nursing leadership to optimize staffing models, training, and performance metrics. This role is a prime pathway to advanced nursing leadership, with ongoing opportunities to expand scope, take on complex cases, and contribute to organizational strategy.
The compensation package reflects competitive market rates and the critical responsibilities you’ll shoulder. Expect weekly pay in the range of $2,084 to $2,161, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week, providing financial stability as you plan your weeks across shifts and supports. In addition to base pay, the position offers a bonus opportunity, housing assistance, and extension opportunities to extend your contract if you wish to continue delivering high-quality care. You’ll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated travel care team, including 24/7 assistance while traveling with the company, ensuring you have reliable resources for scheduling, housing, credentialing, and on-the-ground support wherever your assignment takes you. The combination of performance-based incentives, practical relocation assistance, and extended contract options makes this role not only rewarding but also strategically aligned with long-term professional goals.
