Role Specifics and Benefits
As a Physical Therapy Assistant in this Travel assignment, you’ll work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to help patients recover mobility, strength, and function. Your day-to-day responsibilities include implementing components of treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, providing gait training, and assisting with modalities and mobility aids as directed. You’ll help set up equipment, monitor patient responses, document progress, communicate changes to the supervising PT, and ensure safety and infection control standards are maintained. Your hands-on support is essential to maximizing outcomes for patients across orthopedic, neurological, and rehabilitative settings, with opportunities to tailor plans to individual needs and goals.

What you’ll do:
- Execute prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities with precision and compassion, adjusting as directed by the supervising PT.
