Scottsbluff, NE
Contracted
Regional West Medical Center
Mid Level
Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care (CCU) in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This multi-week assignment invites you to lead and collaborate within a high-acuity CCU team, delivering advanced patient care, shaping outcomes, and elevating your clinical leadership. From first triage to weaning and recovery, you’ll apply state-of-the-art monitoring, ventilator management, and evidence-based interventions in partnership with physicians, therapists, and bedside staff. Begin February 3, 2026, with a structured schedule that provides guaranteed hours, a competitive pay package, and concrete opportunities for growth within your specialty. This is your chance to affect lives profoundly while expanding your CCU expertise in a supportive, settings-rich environment.
Scottsbluff offers the best of regional life: a close-knit community feel, affordable living, and ample outdoor recreation. You’ll have easy access to the Scotts Bluff National Monument, the North Platte River, and scenic trails, with seasonal activities that let you unwind after shifts. The Nebraska landscape—sweeping skies, rolling plains, and a welcoming culture—supports a balanced lifestyle that complements the intensity of CCU work. For travelers seeking variety, your assignment can extend to other locations across the United States through our network, opening doors to new hospitals, patient populations, and clinical mentors while keeping a base of comfort and support through housing and travel services. Working in Scottsbluff also means engaging with a regional healthcare community committed to collaboration, learning, and compassionate care.
Your CCU responsibilities span continuous patient assessment, invasive and noninvasive monitoring, arterial and venous access, titration of vasoactive medications, ventilator support and weaning, EHR documentation, and rapid response collaboration with the ICU team. You’ll participate in rounds, contribute to care plans, and mentor junior staff during shifts, all while maintaining open and transparent communication with patients and families. The role is designed for ongoing professional growth—opportunities to refine critical care skills, expand into specialty lines, and demonstrate leadership in a high-stakes environment. Our benefits are designed to reflect your expertise: a competitive weekly pay range of 2,062 to 2,167, guaranteed 36 hours per week, a completion/retention bonus, and housing assistance to ease relocation. We also offer contract extensions, allowing you to deepen your impact with the same trusted team, and a 24/7 support network for travelers to ensure smooth onboarding and uninterrupted clinical operation across assignments.
At the heart of our mission is empowerment—investing in you, your career, and a supportive culture that recognizes your dedication. We champion ongoing learning, encourage professional advancement, and foster a collaborative environment where the brightest CCU nurses can thrive, mentor peers, and influence patient care pathways. You’ll join a team that respects your expertise, provides clear pathways to expanded responsibilities, and stands beside you with comprehensive administrative and clinical support from start to finish. Our commitment is to create a workplace where your talents are harnessed to deliver exceptional care while you pursue personal and professional growth in tandem.
